Fandom: Heralds of Valdemar/US history (shut up stop judging)
Title: Every Drop of Blood Paid By Another
Author: Ai (yetregressing) (Though if you ask me this in ten--or even five--years, I will deny the FUCK out of it.)
Characters: sparkleponies, Herald-Major Henry Rathbone, a certain favorite President of mine.
Pairing: Um. President/First Lady, Henry Rathbone/Clara Harris
Word count: 1022 words
Genre: Aaaaangst. And infodump.
Rating: PG-13, for violence.
Summary: Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
Notes: Umwow. Somebody please ask me to do that DVD-commentary meme for this, because I will have ALL THE RAMBLES for it. Seriously. There may not be enough sparkleponies in this, and I don't give a damn. It doesn't fit into the fic, but I think it's important to note that Lincoln's Gift? TOTALLY FORESIGHT. That just makes sense, y'all. Also, I am ridiculously proud that the title comes from the Second Inaugural Speech. Yeah, I'm a nerd.
Dedication: To sanestlunatic, for the prompt sparkleponies and presidents
Disclaimer: I do not own the idea of sparkleponies (um, Companions) or Heralds--those concepts belong to Mercedes Lackey. I am also not any of the historical figures in this story--they belong to themselves and to history. My characterization of Major Rathbone is built mostly on fiction, though I'd love to claim that I get a feel for him from my reading. Most details of this story are fact, though I have fudged a few things (like, y'know, giving the President a Companion.) Also, in my version of history Henry Rathbone didn't ask to be treated before the President. Fuck you history, I'm changing that shit (it doesn't even come up in the fic, I just... needed to say that.) My sources for the facts of this fic are Assassination Vacation by Sarah Vowell and Chasing Lincoln's Killer by James L. Swanson; both are excellent reads. Any other facts that are incorrect are either my own fault, or artistic license. This is the longest disclaimer ever.

Next to Normal: I'm Alive

Fandom: Next to Normal
Title: I'm Alive
Author: Ai (yetregressing)
Characters: Gabe, Dan, Diana, Natalie
Pairing: Dan/Diana, platonic Diana/Gabe
Word count: 690 words
Genre: Angst
Rating: PG, for mature-ish content
Summary: You don't give a damn...
Notes: Inspired in part from I am the One, and although I'll admit it uses some of the lines from the show, it doesn't fall into any particular place. I get the feeling these arguments happened a lot in the Goodman household. I'm sorry the characterization sucks, it always does.
Dedication: To Maddie, for flailing with me over the Look. :D
Disclaimer: I do not own Next to Normal; it belongs to Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey.

Fandom: Alias/Easter Rising

Word count: 1,132 words
Genre: Drama/Romance
Rating: PG-13, for language

Dedication: To my brain, for the levels of crack it's okay with.
Disclaimer: I do not own Alias; JJ Abrams does. I do not own Easter Rising; Michael Arden does. I do not own Forward, where the title comes from; Jonathan Reid Gealt does.
